Hi, I'm Martin, the licenced Motor Driving Instructor (MDI) behind Learners Nexus.

 

I provide calm, structured and practical driving lessons across Adelaide’s northern suburbs, helping students build genuine skill and confidence behind the wheel. 

 

You'll often hear me say this - I teach two core things about driving:
 • How to pass the VORT
 • How to drive competently beyond test conditions

 

My focus isn’t just on passing the test — it’s on developing safe, independent drivers who understand the road, not just the checklist.

 

My previous career in the IT industry has led me to develop a lesson-tracking system that allows me to monitor each student’s progress at a glance, and then tailor lessons to their experience level and learning style. Whether you’re brand new to driving or preparing for your VORT, I’ll guide you step-by-step in a relaxed and supportive environment.

 

Lessons are conducted in my 2020 Kia Seltos GT-Line, with dual controls, including braking and accelerator, for added safety and support. For your assurance, I hold a current WWCC (Working with Childrens Check), RAN-EC training, Federal Police Check, and am a licensed Motor Driving Instructor (MDI) authorised under the Registrar of Motor Vehicles (Department for Infrastructure and Transport). Documentation can be supplied upon request.
